
The Marble Lounge on the first floor of Hilton Tokyo will be holding its annual dessert buffet, "Strawberry Dessert Fair," from December 26th to mid-May 2017.
Each time, Marble Lounge's dessert buffet features a unique story-based theme, featuring a spatial presentation and original desserts, making it a popular "buffet that you can't help but take photos of." This year's theme is "Cirque du Fraise," and the entire lounge will be filled with the excitement of a circus or traveling amusement park. The buffet table will be decorated with original artwork by printmaker Nishiwaki Mitsushige, a merry-go-round, a Ferris wheel, and more, along with desserts. Approximately 30 strawberry-based desserts will be available, including "Monsieur Royale," a tart overflowing with strawberries; "Strawberry Shortcake" decorated like a circus tent; "Strawberry Dacquoise," with an almond-flavored sponge texture, pistachio cream, and strawberries; and "Funky Strawberry Shortcake" with dark chocolate cream and strawberries. Glass desserts such as "Melimero Strawberry," with strawberries marinated in orange and yuzu, and "Strawberry Tiramisu" will also be available. Other desserts include "Cold Marble Ice Cream," which combines six types of ice cream with cookies and strawberries, and "Circus Time!", a red and dark chocolate fountain filled with pistachios and semi-dried strawberries that you can break with a hammer and enjoy.
Prices are 3,800 yen for adults and 2,400 yen for children on weekdays, and 3,920 yen for adults and 2,450 yen for children on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays (prices differ from January 1st to 3rd). During the period, strawberry desserts can be enjoyed at Marble Lounge, Chinese restaurant Oushun, and Bar & Lounge ZATTA.
