Designer Giorgio Armani has announced that he will be working with the world's leading yacht manufacturer, Italian Sea Group, to design and engineer the 72-meter motor yacht "Admiral." While Giorgio Armani is known as a yacht enthusiast and owns a large yacht himself, this will be his first time designing and engineering a yacht.

Last year, Armani/Casa, a furniture and interior goods retailer, celebrated its 20th anniversary. Much of this experience will be incorporated into the yacht's interior, creating a space that more strongly expresses Armani's worldview and vision. Furthermore, for Armani, who has built the highest quality hospitality at Armani Hotels in Dubai and Milan, as well as successfully completed numerous luxury condominium projects with major developers, this joint project to build a large yacht with the Italian Sea Group was a natural progression, and the completion of the "Admiral" is already attracting much attention.

Yachts are such an important part of Armani's life that images of Giorgio Armani spending his summer vacations on a yacht make the headlines in local tabloids. One of his two yachts is named "Mari" after his mother. Completed in 2003, this 50-meter-long vessel features a luxurious interior with wide teak floorboards, oak paneling, and an open saloon, while the minimalist interior of the guest rooms evokes Armani's aesthetic.

And the second yacht, "Maìn" (Main = Sea), is painted a dark green that could be mistaken for black at first glance. With a total length of 65 meters, Armani himself has designed everything from the interior to the crew's original uniforms, customizing this yacht in a thoroughly Armani-style aesthetic. During his long holidays, Armani enjoys his vacations on this favorite yacht, visiting places like the island of Pantelleria.
