A special exhibition space, "La Galerie Dior," has been opened at 30 Avenue Montaigne, where the Maison's collections have been created for 75 years. It offers a glimpse into the visionary work of couturier and perfumer Christian Dior and his six successors: Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Bohan, Gianfranco Ferré, John Galliano, Raf Simons, and Maria Grazia Chiuri. In a captivating space designed by Nathalie Crinière, La Galerie Dior brings haute couture, beauty and perfume to life, telling and symbolizing the epic tale of Paris. Thirteen themes illuminate the memories of this historic venue, from Christian Dior's life and passion for gardens and his affinity for art, the magic of his grand balls, his famed workshops, his "Hôtel des Supérieures" conceived as cabinets of curiosities, Dior's signature silhouettes and the exquisite bottles of the House's signature fragrances, Miss Dior and J'Adore. La Galerie Dior displays 1,874 pieces, including 452 miniature dresses and 1,422 pieces created with a 3D printer, the latter of which took 100,000 hours to create.
