On March 25th, CHANEL opened its largest boutique in Western Japan, CHANEL Shinsaibashi, on the first floor of the South Building of the Daimaru Shinsaibashi store in Shinsaibashi, Osaka.
The boutique, with its white exterior designed by New York architect Peter Marino, occupies a spacious single floor of over 450 square meters and embodies the essence of Chanel: luxury, elegance, and modernity.
The store displays the brand's latest collections, from ready-to-wear to handbags, shoes, and accessories. To the right of the entrance are watch collections such as "Premiere," "J12," and "Mademoiselle Privé," as well as fine jewelry such as "Ultra" and "Camellia." Of the two ready-to-wear sections, the salon on the far right is a private space, featuring a fireplace and tweed sofas reminiscent of Mademoiselle Chanel's apartment at 31, rue Cambon in Paris. Paintings by contemporary artist Nancy Lorenz adorn the walls. Other carefully selected art pieces on display include the sculpture "Coromandel Torso" by Johan Creten and the wall mirror "Raindrops" by Curtis Geret.
