CHANEL's Spring/Summer 2016 ready-to-wear collection features a new trolley case. The collection is inspired by various scenes from Chanel Airport, a fictional airport where Chanel Airlines departs and arrives. The collection features travel bags and handbags crafted from Chanel's iconic tweed, quilting, and chains, as well as silicone blades. The collection includes an XXL weekend bag based on the iconic "11.12" handbag, featuring a striking rhinestone-embroidered airplane, and the new "Coco Case" trolley case, featuring a flat zipper pocket on the back with a telescoping handle. Travel-related items also include a mini version of the trolley case and a feminine vanity case. The "Absolute" handbag, with its boxy, straight lines, will also be released to complement the season's smart suits, which are stripped of all distinctive details like pockets, buttons, and blades.
A short movie about the new trolley case, "THE COCO CASE SHOW 1, 2 and 3," has also been released.
