LIMI feu is opening a limited-time shop at Isetan Shinjuku from April 6th to 12th on Stage #2 on the second floor of the main building, showcasing new styling ideas using kimono fabric.
This initiative is part of the "Isetan JAPAN SENSES" campaign, currently running at Isetan Shinjuku, which highlights Japanese traditions and culture. The shop's theme is "Tradition and Innovation," and the shop showcases items that LIMI feu has uniquely interpreted, modern, the costumes, accessories, and behavior of maiko and geisha, symbols of Kyoto tradition.
This time, LIMI feu is collaborating with Chiso, a long-established company with 460 years of history in Kyoto yuzen dyeing. LIMI feu has incorporated kimono inspiration into the creation of unique patterns, all handcrafted by artisans. You can also see "new clothing" featuring traditional Japanese patterns, such as the double waterfall stripe pattern, which exudes a modern atmosphere. The collaboration items with Chiso include a black reversible jacket with a floral lining (220,000 yen), a dress (62,000 yen) and blouse (42,000 yen) with a ring of pine and plum blossoms, a dress (66,000 yen) and blouse (68,000 yen) with a horizontal striped pattern featuring Western flowers and a checkered pattern within a circle, and a blouse (58,000 yen) and pants (52,000 yen) with a flowing lily design in black and burgundy.
In addition, styling items with a hemp leaf pattern (from 44,000 yen), a chiffon stole (18,000 yen), and a pouch (42,000 yen) that match Chiso's worldview are also available.
