Italian fashion brand MARCELO BURTON COUNTY OF MILAN's first pop-up store in Japan will open on June 11th at the International Creators section on the second floor of Isetan Men's. It will be on display until the 17th.
The brand will present a collection that mixes various cultures, including the culture of Argentina, where creative director Marcelo Burlon was born, and the club scene in which he spent his youth. The brand's distinctive designs feature bold prints of reptiles such as snakes and wolves, as well as animal motifs, and this season will also feature a new series featuring bone-themed items. The pop-up store will be the first in the world to sell some of the 2014 Autumn/Winter collection, including T-shirts such as "COBRA WHITE" (27,000 yen) featuring a cobra head print and "WING BONES" (27,000 yen) featuring a bird wing bone design, as well as the "ALAS GREEN CREW" sweatshirt (48,000 yen) featuring vibrant green and pink feathers draped around the neck and shoulders. Marcelo Burlon County of Milan began with a T-shirt collection in 2012. Its clothes have been worn by global fashion icons such as hip-hop artist A$AP ROCKY and hi-pop MC/music producer Kanye West.
