In conjunction with Isetan Mitsukoshi's ongoing JAPAN SENSES campaign since 2011, visvim will open the F.I.L. Indigo Camping Trailer (I.C.T.) on the first floor of the Isetan Shinjuku main building's The Stage for a limited time from April 1st to 8th.
I.C.T. is a concept shop for visvim that opened in 2013. It specializes in natural dyes and vintage materials and offers warm, handcrafted products. Its store is located inside GYRE in Omotesando. This stage will showcase both I.C.T. and visvim's regular lines.
The Gore-Tex jacket (274,320 yen) is made from fabric that has been mud-dyed on Amami Oshima. The items are rich in detail, with vintage bandanas sewn onto the shoulders and tape printed with hand-drawn illustrations affixed to the back.
Other items from the SS14 collection, inspired by the American quilts Nakamura encountered during his travels, include a vest (130,680 yen) and a backpack (116,640 yen) made using a vintage 1980s bandana. Items featuring Aomori's "Kogin embroidery" will also be sold exclusively at Isetan.
A hemispherical tent called the "Fleur Dome" was set up on the stage, which Nakamura felt resonated with assembling the pieces of the American quilt. It symbolizes the brand's worldview for this season.
This marks Visvim's fifth promotional event on the store's first-floor stage, the most for a men's brand.
