The main event of the fashion and performance festival, "Shinjuku Art Heaven 2013," will be the "Shinjuku Style Collection," a street fashion show held at three venues on October 6th. Shinjuku's leading department stores, large commercial facilities, fashion schools, and other fashion-related companies will gather to exhibit. Turning Shinjuku into a giant runway, the event will showcase diverse styles and fashions befitting the city. The event will feature programs in the east, west, and south sections of Shinjuku. In the east area, a fashion show will be held on Shinjuku Street (in front of Bic Camera), using the runway as a base. Isetan Shinjuku, which underwent a renovation this spring as a fashion museum, will showcase cutting-edge fashion styles from Re-Style, International Creators, and International Designers on the third floor of the main building. Shinjuku Marui will be offering real clothes brands suitable for everyday use, such as Takeo Kikuchi, ABAHOUSE, MICHEL KLEIN HOMME, Crowded Closet, Proportion, LOWRYS FARM, Archive, JEANASIS, Seven Days Sunday, and PLST. Lumine Shinjuku and Lumine EST Shinjuku will be proposing actress-inspired styles with the theme of "Dramatic Woman." Participating brands include: Lumine Shinjuku/LANVIN en Bleu, STUDIOUS, DEMI-VEU, THE DAYS TOKYO, COVER GIRL, CANNABIS, DANNY&ANN, EDITION, UNITED ARROWS, UNITED NUDE, and AQUAGIRL. Lumine EST/BEAMS, EMODA, MOUSSY, MURûA, MERCURY DUO, JADA, AMBE, SUPREME LALA, ROYAL PARTY, and CECIL McBEE. Additionally, Lumine Shinjuku will be exhibiting diorama art of the Shinjuku area, created in collaboration with Tsuburaya Productions. At Lumine Est Shinjuku, there will be special events featuring m-flo's DJ VERBAL, so you can enjoy them even after the fashion show.
The same area will also feature a collaboration between Tokyo Mode Gakuen and HAL Tokyo, as well as a collection by students from Bunka Fashion Graduate University (BFGU). Designers participating in the BFGU show include Inchson, Ueda Harue, Kadotani Ayako, Kinoshita Shohei, Sato Megumi, Seo In, Cho Kingetsu, Nagamoto Harue, Park Minseo, and Bae Hyewon.
In the west area, a double fashion show will be held at the Odakyu Department Store Shinjuku branch, along with Keio Department Store. The department stores, which form the commercial districts of Shinjuku's West, East, and South exits, will join forces to celebrate the "Shinjuku Style Collection" on this day.
Also in the southern area, Shinjuku Takashimaya is planning a two-part fashion show featuring the original select shop Style & Edit and a designer who graduated from Bunka Fashion College.
