WACCA JAPAN, a specialty store for Japanese paper, will be holding a special exhibition on Japanese paper, "Learn, Touch, and Feel Washi," from November 21st to 25th at Nowhere but Hayama in Hayama, Kanagawa Prefecture.

The venue for the exhibition is a rental villa renovated from a 90-year-old Japanese house located in Hayama, Kanagawa Prefecture. The living space blends Japanese and modern styles, showcasing the various possibilities of washi, including architectural interiors, lighting, art, stationery, and printing techniques.

In addition, a cafe called "TO:RI CAFE in HAYAMA" will be open within the venue during the exhibition, serving cakes made with seasonal ingredients. An opening reception, "Washi, Materials, and Seasonal Flavors: washi-sozai-syunmi," will also be held from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM on November 21st. On the day, food coordinator Aiko Maki [TO:RI] will be creating a presentation where you can enjoy a variety of dishes made with seasonal ingredients, accompanied by details of washi paper.
