WACCA, a washi specialty store specializing in washi paper and run by a planning and design company founded by a graphic designer, will open its official online store on September 1st. WACCA, a paper specialist, offers stationery and other items made with washi paper. WACCA combines modernity and tradition. WACCA offers unique washi paper crafted throughout Japan in forms that are adaptable to modern lifestyles. The lineup includes approximately 40 stationery items, including envelopes, cards, letter paper, and business cards. The store offers a wide selection of washi paper sourced from over 35 paper mills and handmade washi paper studios across the country, including modern kaishi paper featuring a gold hairline finish and original washi paper made with 15-year-old new tea leaves. WACCA also coordinates the production of original washi paper, designs and plans washi prints and washi paper products, and fulfills custom orders. In the future, the store plans to offer washi paper for construction materials and art pieces made with washi paper.
