Chanel releases short film from its 2015-16 cruise, set in Seoul and New York

CHANEL has released a short film for its 2015-16 Cruise Collection.

For the 2015-16 Cruise Collection, CHANEL presented items that offered a contemporary interpretation of traditional Korean culture. The campaign film for the collection features model Park Soo-ju, who was born in Korea and moved to the United States at the age of 10.

For the campaign, two short films were produced, one set in Park Soo-ju's hometown of Seoul and the other in New York, her current home base. They show Park Soo-ju dashing through the big city wearing pieces from the 2015-16 Cruise Collection.

An image video capturing the details of the 2015-16 Cruise Collection focuses on the textures of the items and the delicate couture work. The collection's vibrant colors, including pink, orange, green, blue, and violet, stand out against a clean, pale white-lavender background. The garments, primarily made of sheer organza, chiffon, and lace, fluttered gently in the breeze as the models moved, creating a light and airy feel. The geometric patchwork and multicolored stripes, combined with the marquetry-like embroidery, also shone brilliantly.
