"Mademoiselle Privé," an exhibition exploring the fascinating creativity of CHANEL, is on view at London's Saatchi Gallery until November 1st.

The exhibition begins in an English-style garden outside the gallery, designed by British landscape designers Harry and David Rich as a tribute to Mademoiselle Chanel's life. Using autumnal gold, burnt oak, and silver granite, the garden is divided into three sections: "Liberty," which expresses Mademoiselle Chanel's desire for freedom; "Boy Capel," which evokes the love of her life; and "Leo," which represents her astrological sign and symbol of strength.

Leaving the garden, a space separated by Coromandel screens reminiscent of Mademoiselle Chanel's apartment opens up, leading to the gallery, immersed in the essence of Chanel. The gallery's first floor is divided into five spaces. The first room recreates symbolic locations, including Deauville, where Mademoiselle Chanel first opened her boutique. There will also be a space showcasing items evocative of the Chanel codes, symbols, and icons created by Mademoiselle Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld. Other spaces include a diamond-themed space, a space where visitors can experience the craftsmanship of haute couture artisans, and a laboratory for the fragrance "Chanel No. 5." The gallery's second floor will feature a reproduction of the 1932 high jewelry collection "Bijoux de Diamants," alongside Chanel's haute couture savoir-faire, specially designed by Karl Lagerfeld for the exhibition. There will also be a zone showcasing portraits of actresses and models associated with Chanel, from Julianne Moore to Lily-Rose Depp. The exhibition concludes with a French-style garden inspired by the "C" found in a stained-glass window at the Aubazine orphanage where Mademoiselle Chanel spent her childhood. The gallery's third floor will also host special workshops highlighting the Maison's craftsmanship and savoir-faire, as well as educational programs for all ages. The opening, held on October 12, was attended by Karl Lagerfeld, Julianne Moore, Vanessa Paradis, Lily-Rose Depp, Rinko Kikuchi, and Rita Ora. Following the ceremony, the gallery's third-floor club hosted live performances by St. Vincent and Jamie Bochart, as well as performances by Lily Allen, Jonny Wilkes, and Jarvis Cocker.
