Pearls have been used as a symbol of Chanel's style since the time of Gabrielle Chanel. Chanel's new eyewear collection for the Spring/Summer 2016 season features items with pearls on the theme of "Lovely Pearl."

One notable model is an elegant cat-eye shape limited edition model with gold and silver charms featuring pearls and the double CC logo on the temple earpieces. The bold design uses Chanel jewelry as a sunglasses charm, and when worn hanging down on the ears, it looks like you're wearing long earrings.

This is a limited edition model that will be released sequentially from mid-November. The frames are available in black and tortoiseshell, with two lens colors each, and are priced at 105,000 yen (110,000 yen for the polarized lens version).
