A picture book titled "My Cute Hedgehog, Darcy," a collaboration between Instagram's wildly popular "Darcy the Hedgehog" and artist D[di:], will be released in mid-November.

"Darcy the Hedgehog" is a hedgehog with over 400,000 followers on Instagram and the subject of a photobook. Since his owner added him to Instagram in 2011, his innocent expression has garnered attention, leading to him being featured in numerous international media outlets and becoming a huge hit. In March 2014, a photobook featuring photos posted on Instagram, "Darcy the Hedgehog," was released.

Coming two years after Darcy's natural death, this book is a long-awaited release for both his owner and his fans, who mourn his passing. This collaboration with artist D[di:], who is active in a variety of fields including novels, illustrations, and fashion, has seen Darcy expand beyond photography to include illustration and manga. From Darcy's perspective, the book humorously depicts the peaceful daily life of his owner.

Artist D[di:], an avid animal lover, not only created the illustrations but also the story, and the pages feature a "novel comic" touch, which was D[di:]'s specialty at the time of his debut.
