Fruit tart specialty store Kil fait Bon has unveiled its new spring product, "Ibaraki Prefecture "Asahi Kanjuro" Tart." It will be available at Kil fait Bon stores nationwide from March 1st.

The "Asahi Kanjuro" used in this tart is a sweet and delicious sweet potato grown in the fields of Hokota City (formerly Asahi Village), Ibaraki Prefecture, for a long period of 150 days, and then ripened in constant temperature storage. Only sweet potatoes that meet strict conditions, including thorough cultivation methods, are shipped under the Asahi Kanjuro brand.

Kilfavon bakes Asahi Kanjuro, which is delicious even as it is, and uses it in tarts, whole and with the skin on, without any processing.

The "Asahi Kanjuro Tart from Ibaraki Prefecture" allows you to fully enjoy the sweetness and deliciousness of "Asahi Kanjuro", which has been stored at a constant temperature for over a month.
The "Asahi Kanjuro Tart from Ibaraki Prefecture" is a cookie dough tart filled with sweet potato cream, sliced baked sweet potato, mildly sweet vanilla-flavored cream, and white chocolate crunch seasoned with Guérande salt to add a flavor accent. This dish allows you to enjoy the contrast between the sticky texture of the "Asahi Kanjuro" and the crunchy texture of the sable and chocolate crunch.
