ORIX Corporation serves as product manager for the commercial facility "KIRARITO GINZA," which will open on October 30th. A preview was held on the 28th.
Located on Ginza Chuo-dori, where Mitsukoshi and Matsuya department stores line the street, the facility features an eye-catching brilliant-cut facade, as its name, which expresses its desire to become "the happiest place in Ginza," suggests. From the basement floor to the 12th floor, the facility comprises a total of 52 stores, including 33 retail stores, 11 restaurants and eight service outlets. The facility is packed with popular gift-themed stores perfect for special occasions such as weddings, wedding anniversaries, and birthdays, which are life's "shining moments." On the first floor, a fashion and lifestyle section, American bag brand Hartmann will open its flagship store. New York fashion brand TOCCA will also open a new concept store, featuring a 25-square-meter VIP room exclusive to the Ginza store. A wide variety of clothing, jewelry, miscellaneous goods, cosmetics, and more will be available. Bridal jewelry will be on the second floor, while gifts and accessories will be available on the third floor, featuring bridal and anniversary jewelry shops. Brides Tiara, a tiara specialty store that also offers rentals, sells a tiara worth 100 million yen. The fourth floor cafe and light dining area, home to Ginza's first "eggs'nThings," features an open terrace where you can enjoy your meal while looking out over the Ginza cityscape. The fifth floor is home to the handmade shop Kiwa Seisakusho, Japan's largest flagship store, and the sixth floor, which showcases "Japanese creations" aimed at foreign tourists, is home to "dining gallery Ginza no Kanazawa," a gallery showcasing Kanazawa's traditional crafts and a restaurant where you can sample Kanazawa's food culture. The seventh and eighth floors, the restaurant area, offer a wide variety of dining options, including a conveyor-belt sushi restaurant, a yakiniku bar, and Taipei dim sum. Furthermore, on the basement floor, "Ore no Italian TOKYO" and "Ore no French TOKYO" offer high-end cuisine in a casual setting, making them some of the largest restaurants in Japan.
A full range of bridal services are available from the ninth floor to the top floor, and on the 11th and 12th floors, there is the "Verdemossa Ginza" wedding venue, based on the concept of a "Ginza resort wedding." It also features a fully glass-enclosed chapel and a party room with one of Tokyo's largest rooftop gardens.
Tetsuro Masuko, Executive Officer and Head of Real Estate Business at ORIX Corporation, commented, "Ginza is undergoing redevelopment, and from now on, it will become a place that communicates with the world. Among these, Kirarito Ginza is imbued with the desire to help people decorate their lives with brightness, and we have gathered various flagship stores to create a new landmark." Yukio Arai, president and CEO of developer MSC Co., Ltd., said, "We set out to create something not found in Ginza, and we've created a commercial facility catering to the bridal needs of Ginza's Chuo-dori Street, home to Harry Winston, Tiffany, and Hatsuko Endo Beauty Studio. Facilities specializing in 'special occasions' are extremely rare across the country, and we look forward to seeing what the future holds." The press conference also unveiled a gorgeous "crystal poster" featuring the facility's key visual, featuring approximately 100,000 crystals and 10 carats of diamonds scattered throughout. The posters are made up of 1,000 sheets cut to business card size, and each sheet features a special coupon on the back that can be used at tenant shops. Visitors can peel them off and use them at the grand opening. Some sheets feature a one-carat natural diamond, making them "gifts" in themselves.
