NEWYORKER BY KEITA MARUYAMA, under the direction of designer Keita Maruyama, will be offering a wide variety of tweed items this fall. The collection focuses on classic patterns for Harris Tweed jackets, which were popular last year. The unique appeal of tweed lies in the unconstructed tailoring, yet the structured silhouette. Fabrics from Robert Noble, a leading textile mill in Scottish tweed, are also used. The thin, soft material ensures exceptional comfort. Key items in the lineup include a herringbone jacket (¥59,000), a tattersall jacket (¥59,000), and a tartan check jacket (¥63,000). Other tweed items include a Chesterfield coat (¥86,000) accented with a high collar and flap pockets, as well as accessories such as hats and caps. Jackets include a tricot velvet (46,000 yen) and a cashmere beaver gingham (53,000 yen). Other items include a military polo coat (83,000 yen), a Snowdon down blouson (69,000 yen), and an ultra-melton pea coat (63,000 yen), as well as velvet items and three clutch bag models. Furthermore, from October 17th to 26th, a tweed fair will be held at six New Yorker by Keita Maruyama stores nationwide (Hankyu Men's Tokyo, Isetan Shinjuku Men's, Hankyu Men's Osaka, Meitetsu Department Store Men's, Sogo Hiroshima, and Kumamoto Tsuruya East Building). Customers who purchase a tweed item will receive an original patch as a gift.
