The "Keita Maruyama 20th Anniversary Celebration: The Complete Exhibition of 'Maruyama Landscapes'" is currently being held at Omotesando Hills. It runs until August 17th. Keita Maruyama is a fashion designer who has designed not only his own brand, "KEITA MARUYAMA," but also numerous stage costumes for musicians and actors. His work is characterized by bold, painterly prints and delicate, handcrafted, feminine details. The exhibition will feature approximately 200 pieces from the brand's 20th anniversary collection. You can also see stage costumes designed by Maruyama for numerous artists, including DREAMS COME TRUE, Ayumi Hamasaki, Hitoto Yo, and Nomiya Maki. The limited-edition commemorative book, "KEITA MARUYAMA 'Maruyama Landscapes'," which compiles Maruyama's work over the past 20 years, is available for pre-order at the venue. Limited-edition merchandise and photo books are also available for purchase. Talk shows featuring distinguished guests are also scheduled to be held during the exhibition.
Chie Morimoto was in charge of the art direction for the venue and the commemorative book. Regarding the event, Morimoto commented, "I think of wearing Keita's clothes as wearing the scenery and the seasons." Morimoto himself is scheduled to appear at the event on the 16th.
