TOGA holds its first presentation in Paris in five years, combining Impressionist paintings with fashion

Mar 4, 2013

On February 28th, TOGA held a presentation for its 2013-14 Fall/Winter collection in Paris. This was the brand's first presentation in about five years. The brand's overseas business, primarily in European cities like Paris and London, has been expanding, and the decision to hold a presentation was prompted by the brand's 15th anniversary last November. The collection's theme was a combination of Impressionist paintings and modern fashion. Prints like fruit prints that resemble still lifes and prints resembling Impressionist nude drawings were both based on photographs. Other notable designs included flocked prints featuring Rococo-style flowers and leaves, and pants incorporating rounded silhouettes like corsets. Regarding future presentations in Paris, a spokesperson said, "We haven't made any specific decisions at this time, but we're seeing an increase in overseas clients, so we'd like to continue holding presentations if possible."
