Pierre Hermé's Easter treats are chocolates shaped like eggs and bunnies.

PIERRE HERMÉ will be releasing limited-edition Easter items from March 20th. In honor of Easter, the items include chocolates in the shape of eggs (Easter eggs), the source of life, and Easter bunnies, whose bouncing about and giving birth to many young are said to represent the vitality of life.

"Ufteobroma" (24cm/5,250 yen, 20cm/3,675 yen) is made with chocolat noir to represent eggs and leaves. "Uft Pietra" (10-piece assortment of 5 pieces each/1,575 yen) is made with homemade praline containing coarsely crushed hazelnuts and gianduja made with fleur de sel and olive oil. Also on sale are "Ouffe d'Anternoir," an egg-shaped chocolate decorated with a yellow ribbon; "Ouffe Griffe," which uses chocolat au lait and chocolat noir to represent an egg and its shell (24cm/5,250 yen, 20cm/3,675 yen, 14cm/2,940 yen each); and "Ouffe Mandiant" (24cm/5,250 yen), which is wrapped around orange peel and ginger confit. Also on sale are "Lapin à la Haut" (22cm/3,675 yen) and "Grand Lapin" (27cm/5,250 yen), chocolates shaped like rabbits. They will be on sale at Pierre Hermé Paris' Aoyama store and other directly managed boutiques nationwide.
