On the 18th, Sise unveiled its 2013-2014 Autumn/Winter collection at Chichibunomiya Rugby Stadium. The designer was Masami Matsui. This is the brand's second collection under the umbrella of Mark Styler. This season's theme is "HERO." The color palette is white, navy, black, and gray, with vivid red added midway through. Check and camouflage jacquard fabrics are used for the patterns. The red and camouflage also symbolize the strength of a hero. Oversized sweatshirts, T-shirts, and knitwear are layered, with checked flannel shirts tied around the waist. Simple collarless jackets and hooded coats with hidden plaids are used. Bottoms include shorts, black pants, and rolled-up wide jeans. Each look is paired with a pure white shirt for a clean look. Matsui also suggested styling streetwear pieces like jersey zip-up blousons, shorts, and graffiti motifs, paired with tailored jackets and wool coats. Instead of Converse Jack Purcells, which have long been a staple at Cissé, he chose simple white sneakers with thin skater soles. The collection also marks the brand's first foray into full-scale collaborations. The collection includes PORTER backpacks and waist bags, chigo accessories, and ADSR sunglasses, as well as a bird graphic T-shirt, created in collaboration with KYTE, the British rock band whose music was featured in Cissé's first show three years ago. "I designed the collection with the image of a strong, reliable, archetypal hero like Ultraman, as well as my own childhood heroes, such as Eminem, Sigur Ros, and Gus Van Sant. I wanted to express not only their strength, but also a kind of sadness," Matsui said. This sadness was also expressed in the special song by Ishige Hikaru of The Telephones that was used in the show.
The number of looks has increased compared to previous seasons, and the design method has changed accordingly. This season also showed progress as a brand, with the brand asking a stylist to style the show. Matsui said, "I can't talk about it yet, but we have a lot of plans for the future."
