HAN AHN SOON held its 2013-14 Autumn/Winter collection show on March 20th at Shibuya Hikarie. Designer Han An Soon (HAN AHN SOON) celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2013, but this was its first runway show at Tokyo Collection in three years. This season's theme was "Mannish Pop," showcasing masculine looks with waist-length jackets and loose-fitting pants. Sharp black was complemented by light blue, vermilion, and white stripes reminiscent of African tribal patterns. Chiffon dresses and knit cardigans featured high-necklines and bare shoulders. Femininity was also evident, as seen in full-length I-line dresses with large back slits. Fur, a specialty of the brand, was used as an eye-catching piece on vests, blousons, and scarves. Neon yellow sequins were also used on knitwear, showcasing an unexpected combination of materials. The venue featured a sleek black runway. In the front row was entertainer Korokke, who launched his own brand, Mimic.
