JUN OKAMOTO presented its 2013-14 Autumn/Winter collection at Bellesalle Shibuya Garden on March 22nd. Designer Jun Okamoto. The theme was "A sweet breakfast for her who dislikes coffee." Coffee chips were enclosed with show invitations, and coffee was distributed to invited guests at the venue. The first foil-printed dress evokes the starry sky before dawn. Pumps are decorated with real coffee beans. The collection offers elegant, real clothing, including bow-tie dresses, floral skirts, and dresses, paired with soft jackets showcasing the texture of the fabric. For men, basic pieces like chester coats and over-the-shoulder pea coats are loose-fitting. While sharing signature details across both men's and women's lines, the sizing captures the era. The sky transfer print reflects the sky from before dawn to the morning. The beauty of the gradation is brought out by making the fabric into simply cut shirts and dresses.
