Introducing Pierre Ledent

〈Pierre Ledent - Pierre Redon - > Born as the fourth generation owner of a long-established patisserie bakery in the ancient Belgian city of Liège, he helped out in the family business from an early age, honing his skills. He graduated from confectionery school in just one year, instead of the three required, and after training in France, opened a workshop in his hometown of Liège.

Pierre Redon's chocolates shine like jewels. This is possible thanks to his advanced tempering (temperature control) technique, which is said to be a difficult step in making bonbons. His extraordinary passion is infused into his chocolates, from creating the thinnest and most delicate coating possible to bringing out the gorgeous, soft texture, to using nuts, fruits, and spices personally selected from around the world. He represents the fascinating women he has met in his life through chocolates, naming them after them.

Pierre Redon chocolates are only available in Japan on Valentine's Day and White Day. The autograph sessions held at department stores every year are so popular that people line up, and there are also avid fans who collect the packaging and catalogues.
