A capsule collection, a collaboration between A BATHING APE (hereafter BAPE) and Coca-Cola, will be released nationwide on July 5th.
Coca-Cola is a summertime favorite. This refreshing drink has recently been the subject of much discussion in fashion. Last December, they released a collaborative sneaker with Reebok, and in April of this year, Isetan Shinjuku held an event showcasing a reprint of past Coca-Cola items.
This collaboration features an eye-catching, funny design of an Ape drinking Coca-Cola. The A BATHING APE font also features a streamlined, Coca-Cola-style design. The lineup includes T-shirts (7,000 yen) and glasses (2,500 yen) featuring the logo and the Coca-Cola logo, as well as a red G-SHOCK watch in a special can (23,000 yen). Among the items that stand out the most are the hooded parka (24,800 yen) and cap (8,200 yen) that feature BAPE's original camouflage, "BAPE CAMO," in Coca-Cola red. Purchases of 25,000 yen or more, including collaboration products, will receive an original yo-yo as a gift.
