Coca-Cola launched the music campaign "Share a Coke and a Song" on March 4th.
By entering the nine-digit code printed on Coca-Cola's Year bottles (300ml, 500ml, 1.5L, and 2L PET bottles) labeled with each year from 1957 to 2013 on a dedicated website, you can stream a playlist of 10 songs, both Japanese and international, centered on hits from the year on the label on Sony's music service, Music Unlimited.
The Year bottles will be on sale until June. The playlist will be available to play until August 31st.
In addition, on the 16th and 17th, a giant Year bottle made of speakers will appear in the plaza in front of the main building of Iwataya Main Store in Fukuoka. An event will be held in which hit songs from that year will be played by entering the year from 1957 to 2013.
