Isetan Men's will hold a collaboration event with Pitti Immagine Uomo (hereinafter "Pitti"), Italy's largest men's trade fair, from June 25th to July 15th.
Under the theme of "Rock me Pitti," the event will recreate the atmosphere of the 85th Pitti, held in January 2014, and feature the latest creations and special edition items from participating brands.
In the space next to the main entrance on the first floor of the Men's Building, TAGLIATORE, which made its Pitti debut in January this year, will be presenting its new suits and jackets for pre-order and sale. To recreate the atmosphere of Pitti in Italy, where it was selected as the best booth by the Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, the presentation will feature torsos and other fixtures used there. Italian tie brand STEFANO BIGI will be holding a trunk show in the dress shirt and tie section on the first floor of the building. Designer and owner Stefano Bigi will visit Japan on July 12th to be among the first to take orders for tie designs from his Spring/Summer 2015 collection. Customers can choose from over 200 sample designs and can even customize their tie styles, such as quattro pieghe (four-fold) or sette pieghe (seven-fold). Pitti is also known for its visitor snapshots. On Saturdays and Sundays during the event, the building will host a snap event just like the one at Pitti. LEON magazine will photograph customers in the building and feature them in its pages. The photos will also be featured at a special booth on the first floor and on Isetan Men's online media, ISETAN MEN'S net.
On the sixth floor of the same building, the first Diesel Black Gold pop-up shop by Andreas Melbostad, who was invited as a special guest designer at Pitti in January, will also open.
This is Isetan's third Pitti event. More than 1,000 brands from around the world exhibit at Pitti in its home country, and Isetan carries more than 200 of these brands, so the company is collaborating with Pitti Immagine, the organization that organizes Pitti.
Brands available include SIDE SLOPE, WOOLRICH, GIAB'S ARCHIVIO, MALO, MAN1924, PT01, PT05, BAGUTTA, LUIGI BORRELLI, GIAMPAOLO, CHEANEY, TRICKER'S, DIEMME, and DANIEL&BOB.
