"Noël à la Mode - A Champagne Festival" will be held from November 19th to 24th at the event hall on the 6th floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku.
A wide variety of champagnes from over 50 houses will be on display, and producers from 30 houses will be in attendance. You can enjoy conversations about the appeal of champagne with producers such as Marie-Noël Ledru of Marie-Noël Ledru, who produces "Millesime 2006" (10,000 yen / limited to 12 bottles), and Yann-Alexandre Gonet of Gonet-Shurkova, who produces "Cuvée Gaia Grand Cru" (10,000 yen). On the first day, the 19th, three brands from the charismatic récoltant-manipulant Jacques Selosse (18 bottles of Brut Initial for ¥19,500) and a prestige champagne set from the world-renowned Henri Giraud (¥750,000 per set) will be sold in limited quantities via lottery. Applications will be accepted for 15 minutes from 10:30 to 10:45. If the number of applicants exceeds the current quota, a lottery will be held from 11:00. Additionally, during the event, the first 40 people each day to spend ¥21,600 or more (tax included) at the venue will receive a one-day-only "Today's Premium Champagne" exchange voucher. By presenting this voucher at "The Stand," the champagne bar on the second floor of the main building, you can enjoy that day's premium champagne (approximately 75ml per glass for ¥2,000) for a fee. The brands to be served on each day are Billecart-Salmon "Vintage 2004" on the 19th, Taittinger "Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs 2005" on the 20th, Henri Giraud "Cote Noir" on the 21st, Dom Pérignon "Vintage 2004" on the 22nd, Perrier-Jouët "Belle Epoque 2006" on the 23rd, and Bollinger "La Grande Année 2004" on the 24th. These are six days that champagne lovers will love.
