Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo will be offering a variety of summer-only plans and events from July 14th to August 31st under the title "Summer Splash—Feel the Summer with All Five Senses." Special summer-only stay plans include the "Summer Getaway Plan," which includes an all-weather indoor pool, one of Tokyo's largest luxury spas, and complimentary breakfast. The plan also includes a ticket to Sunshine Aquarium, called "Let's Go Meet the Sea Lions in the Sky!—Sunshine Aquarium Ticket, Taxi, and Breakfast." For three days only, from August 8th to 10th, "Kurayami Kaidan" powered by Kurayami Shokudo will be held. This is a first for the hotel, and it's a perfect summer event, where guests can enjoy a full course meal accompanied by various scary stories while blindfolded. Enjoy the summer in the beautiful gardens with the powerful Gojo Falls, Hotaruzawa, which creates a misty sea of clouds and creates a world of a secluded valley, and approximately 330 Edo-style wind chimes placed throughout. Serenity Garden, an aerial garden offering a panoramic view of the garden, will host the limited-time event "Champagne Garden 2014" from July 1st to September 30th. Enjoy all-you-can-drink champagne, including three varieties of Moët & Chandon, as well as various cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks. Summer experience programs are also available. The programs are divided into two main parts. One is for adults, and includes the "Summer Aroma Class," where aromatherapist Maki Ohashi teaches you how to make aromatherapy items, and the "Pen Drawing Class," where you can learn how to create detailed pen drawings using light and shadow. The other is for families, with activities like "Bread & Cookie Baking," "Wind Chime Painting," and the "Hagi Pottery Making Experience," where you can try your hand at the traditional craft of Hagi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, the setting for next year's taiga drama.
In addition, as an outdoor experience, "Let's Play! Splash Balloon!" will be held for three days only from August 13th to 15th, where you can play with water balloons that may pop at any time.
