On November 18th, FREITAG released its first items in Japan made with the brand's new 100% biodegradable material, "F-ABRIC."

The material is made from European-sourced hemp, flax, modal, and other materials. Because it uses minimal chemicals, it's safe for infants and young children to wear, and when returned to the soil, it contributes to fertile soil. It also boasts excellent temperature and humidity regulation, and the fabric has been treated with an antibacterial agent.

The "E170 FEMALE WORKDRESS" (22,900 yen) is a practical mix of a mid-length skirt and overalls. Inspired by classic workwear, it's crafted from F-ABRIC in a sturdy broken twill. The color palette includes industrial green, ochre, and dark blue. Additionally, men's "E550" work pants (28,100 yen) are available, crafted from broken twill. They incorporate the details and comfort of denim and chinos, while also offering practical features like a phone pocket, a retractable back pocket, and a coin holder. The color palette is the same as the work dress, available in three colors: industrial green, ochre, and dark blue. T-shirts are available in the "E320" (9,600 yen) for women and the "E720" (9,600 yen) for men. The Journey Knit fabric provides a second-skin fit and superior moisture absorption for exceptional comfort. Both T-shirts feature chest pockets and are available in natural, industrial green, dark blue, and black. A long-sleeved shirt (14,300 yen) made from the same jersey knit is also available in the same color palette.

Also available is the F799 F-ABRIC CONCEPT BAG (28,100 yen), a backpack unique to Freitag. Its smart and simple form is accented with colorful truck tarps. The main body comes in two colors: industrial green and ochre.

The iron pants buttons and the bag's truck tarps are all removable, and even the sewing thread and labels are made from 100% biodegradable materials. Based on the F-ABRIC, which took five years to develop, it has been made with ethical considerations in every detail.
