Shiseido Parlour's Ginza flagship store, Salon de Cafe, has introduced two cherry blossom-themed desserts using seasonal Fukuoka strawberries, "Yayoi Hime," for a limited time until March 31st.
The "Sakura Mille-feuille Style - A Magnificent Spring in Ginza" (1,980 yen with coffee or tea, tax included) is a strawberry mousse made with cherry blossom-scented strawberry cream and custard cream, adorned with langue de chat cookies shaped like petals and Yayoi Hime strawberries from Fukuoka Prefecture, creating a gorgeous cherry blossom look. Enjoy it with Shiseido Parlour's traditional vanilla ice cream. The other dessert, "Ginza's Warm Pot Cheesecake 'Yayoi Hime'" (1,980 yen with coffee or tea, tax included), is a Salon de Cafe original, made by blending two types of cream cheese and adding strawberry jam and custard cream. The assortment uses Yayoihime cheese, making it a dish that allows you to enjoy the richness and freshness of the cheesecake, as well as the warmth of the cheesecake and the coolness of the ice cream all at once.
