FAUCHON releases limited edition box and tea perfect for cherry blossom viewing

Mar 12, 2017

FAUCHON, a top gourmet brand from Paris, France, will be offering a limited-time "Hanami Box" (¥1,600) and "Hanami Tea" (¥3,000) from March 15th to April 9th. The "Hanami Box," available for a limited time each year to coincide with the popular cherry blossom viewing season, features three types of flower petal-themed bread exclusively in Japan. The set includes three each of the following: "Brioche," baked with a rich aroma accented with olive oil; "Croissant," characterized by a soft texture thanks to reduced butter; and "Soft French Bread," with a soft cherry blossom aroma. Three new flavors of spreads—tomato, herb, and honey and mustard—were developed exclusively for the "Hanami Box." Additionally, this year, the brand is releasing a new "Hanami Tea," a refreshing Japanese green tea flavored with cherry and red fruit notes and kamimoru, bringing out the aroma and tranquil flavor of spring.

The "Hanami Box" will be sold in limited quantities at Nihonbashi Takashimaya, Shinjuku Takashimaya, Yokohama Takashimaya, Kashiwa Takashimaya, Nagoya Takashimaya, Kyoto Takashimaya, and other stores, and reservations can be made in stores up to three days in advance. Additionally, the "Hanami Tea" will be sold at Takashimaya stores nationwide and other stores.
