Grand Hyatt Tokyo will be offering special menus to celebrate Easter and April Fool's Day.
From March 21st to April 16th, Fiorentina Pastry Boutique on the first floor will be serving Easter Cake (1,500 yen), an egg-shaped cake with a hidden vanilla brulee filling resembling a yolk, Easter Eggs (M size 5,000 yen, S size 2 pieces for 1,500 yen) filled with small egg-shaped chocolates, and Easter Bunny and Chicken (S size from 1,200 yen, M size from 2,800 yen, L size from 4,000 yen) featuring chocolate figures of rabbits that are said to carry Easter eggs and chickens that lay eggs (chicken only available in M and L sizes).
In addition, from April 1st to 30th, April Fool's Day is called April's fish (poisson d'avril) in France, so the hotel will be selling the "Poisson d'avril" (2,800 yen), a fish-shaped pie decorated with strawberries in the shape of scales, and the "Poisson d'avril Cookies" (850 yen), fish-shaped icing cookies that are handmade from baking to decoration, making them perfect gifts.
In addition, the French Kitchen on the second floor of the hotel will be offering a two-day limited Easter brunch to celebrate Easter in a colorful way. Easter-themed items such as hot cross buns and Easter chocolates will be available, as well as egg dishes such as pâté de pac, a pâté filled with egg and wrapped in crispy dough, which are first made in French homes, roasted leg of lamb, and vibrant Easter eggs. Prices are 6,200 yen (excluding service charge) for a glass of champagne, or 8,800 yen for 90 minutes of free flow, and are open from 11:30am to 3pm.
