Y-3's sportswear line, Y-3 SPORT, has announced its Spring/Summer 2017 collection. Y-3 SPORT is a capsule collection born from the belief that "you can't compromise on your style even when playing sports." It offers stylish pieces equipped with authentic technology and functionality for a variety of sports. Now in its third season, this season's inspiration is "camouflage," which blends seamlessly into urban and natural environments. Camouflage in urban environments reflects the idea of an "urban enigma," evoking the image of a mysterious, solitary figure wandering the city in black. Camouflage in natural environments expresses natural phenomena, such as acid rain and the movement of leaves, through unique materials and details. This season also features advanced adidas technology, including seamless knitwear, laser-cut ventilation systems, and bonded construction. The essential Airflow Breaker is crafted from Adizero fabric for ultimate lightness. Its fully bonded, laser-cut ventilation system and water-repellent finish combine high design and functionality. The sleek Poncho features cotton details with laser-cut ventilation on the arms and upper, evoking the stillness and movement of leaves. An integrated backpack compartment provides excellent weather protection. The Approach Low, a low-top redesign of the popular Approach sneaker, is available. The unique design features a TechFit mesh interior that reflects light as the foot moves, visible through laser-cut ventilation holes. The Approach High, a high-top training shoe with a seamless fit, is also available for women. Additionally, the backpack series, which enhances the look, will feature a 12L "Running Backpack" with a built-in water bottle case and drink tube.

The new collection will be available from March 24th at Y3 directly managed stores, the official online shop, and select shops in Japan.
