Nike released the Zonal Strength Tights, a pair of tights for training and running, on January 12th.
These tights were created by analyzing every aspect of the design details and fit, and are designed to apply pressure to the appropriate areas to match the muscle movements of each sport.
The running tights are designed to reduce muscle vibration in the thighs and calves, and the breathable material allows for greater mobility in the hips and knees.
The training tights have a higher waistband to reduce vibration in the core, glutes, quadriceps, and hamstrings, and to increase awareness of the core, which is important in all types of training, from low-impact training like yoga to high-impact cross-training. They also have flat seams to avoid interference with movement.
The image visuals feature dancer and choreographer Koharu Sugawara as the only Japanese athlete, alongside three of the world's top athletes: middle-distance runner Colleen Quigley, athlete, actress and DJ Cal Rivero, and heptathlon gold medalist Nafissatou Chiang.
The prices for both the Nike Zonal Strength Running Tights for running and the Nike Zonal Strength Training Tights for training are 16,200 yen.
