Shiseido Parlour debuts a replica Bavarian cream to commemorate the retirement of the Toden 7000 Series streetcar

Mar 24, 2017

Until April 30th, Shiseido Parlour Ginza Main Store Salon de Cafe will be serving a spring dessert, "Floral Strawberry Bavarian Cream" (1,980 yen including tax / includes a complimentary cup of coffee or tea), a modern take on the classic bavarois.

This dessert was created to commemorate the retirement of the Toden 7000 series streetcar, which ran between Ginza and Nihonbashi from 1954 to 1967, in March, and as the "Ginza 7-chome stop" was located in front of Shiseido Parlour at the time, it is a dish of strawberry bavarois garnished with orange slice chips resembling streetcar wheels.
