Italian luxury brand ETRO will open a pop-up store in the International Luxury section on the fourth floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building from March 29th to April 11th.
The pop-up showcases the theme of the brand's Spring/Summer 2017 Men's Collection, "BLUE." The collection features various blue ikat (kasuri) patterns and designs reminiscent of kimonos, as well as irregular patterns that express imperfection, a concept of Japanese beauty known as "wabi-sabi."
In addition, many runway items will be available only during the pop-up, including some exclusive to Isetan Mitsukoshi. A short film inspired by the vast horizons seen in Hiroshi Sugimoto's photographs will also be screened.
A pop-up will also be held in a special space on the third floor of Hankyu Men's Osaka from April 19th to May 2nd.
