Carol Lim and Humberto Leon's Kenzo Fall/Winter 2017-18 collection was held at an event center in Paris's 19th arrondissement. The makeup and fitting rooms were centrally located for full view of the audience. The environmentally conscious duo were inspired by Arctic surfing culture and made the backstage part of their set, donating the savings to environmental organizations. The show opened with sporty suits in vibrant winter blue and raincoat yellow. Gradient Aran knit dresses evoking glaciers and the aurora borealis and innovative color-blocked turtleneck sweaters were paired with hooded knitted undershirts, and some pieces were coordinated with knitwear or brushed pants. Check and argyle suits, as well as Hawaiian and Arctic surfer flower motifs, added a hedonistic mood to the collection.

There was workwear such as rubberized raincoats and survival-style ski gear such as down jackets, followed by tailored suits in the second half of the show. However, rather than a traditional silhouette, the jackets had drop shoulders and buttons positioned high, giving them a modern impression.

This time, the women's collection for Fall/Winter 2017-18 was also announced, following the same concept as the men's collection, but it was even more glamorous and feminine, with items inspired by Northern European traditions featuring ribbons and dresses with floral motifs.
