GODIVA has announced its 2014 Valentine's Day limited edition "Message Chocolat Collection." This year, the pink round boxes with red ribbons and heart-shaped silver and ceramic packages, designed by Paris-based artist Nathalie Lete, feature illustrations of flowers and birds along with messages of love and gratitude, based on the theme "Message pour vous (I want to tell you)." Also, there are six varieties of "Message Chocolat," a chocolate available only for Valentine's Day. Each chocolate is layered with strawberry or apricot ganache and nut praline, providing a different texture. The surface is decorated with messages such as "Amour (love)" and "Merci (thank you)" as well as heart marks, just like the packaging. The lineup includes the "Message Chocolat Selection" (3 pieces/1,365 yen and others), a selection of Valentine's Day limited edition chocolates, the "Message Chocolat Heart Box" (6 pieces/2,415 yen and others), a set of limited edition chocolates and popular standard chocolates, and the round, limited-edition cake "Gâteau Chocolat Milk Chocolate Orange" (3,675 yen). The products will be on sale from January 8th to February 14th, 2014, at Godiva shops in famous department stores and at Godiva specialty stores. In addition, an original short movie themed "I want to tell you," starring actress Miori Takimoto and produced by stage director and film director Takahata Shuta, will be released on January 8th to coincide with the release.
