"Lindt Chocolat Cafe," offering a unique experience of the world of Lindt, a long-established chocolate brand founded in 1845, opened at Mitsui Outlet Park Shiga Ryuo on the 11th. This is the second outlet store, following the opening of Mitsui Outlet Park Iruma in Saitama Prefecture on June 6th. While there is a street-level store in nearby Nagoya, this is the first in the Kinki region. Of course, outlet prices are unique here. In addition to seasonally changing products, there is also a special discount corner not available at the Tokyo and Nagoya stores. "Pick & Mix" is a system where customers can purchase Lindor, Lindt's signature product, by weight. Customers randomly choose their favorite flavor from five flavors and bag them. Discounts increase with purchase, ranging from 100g (5% off) to 500g or more (25% off), in 100g increments. You can also freely choose from a wide variety of classic tablet (chocolate bar) combinations, and the more you buy, the more discounted it becomes.

Popular iced chocolate drinks (dark/milk, 650 yen each) and chocolate soft serve can be enjoyed in the store (standing) or for takeout, and there are also seasonal menu items such as Lindt Chocolat Frappe Mango. New ice cream and sorbet products are also on sale in advance to coincide with the store's opening at the outlet park.
