Gucci will hold the "Icons of Heritage" exhibition at KITTE in Marunouchi from November 16th to 24th. The exhibition will showcase precious archive items housed at the Gucci Museum, established in Florence, Italy in 2011 to commemorate the brand's 90th anniversary. Items on display in Japan for the first time include trunks and suitcases from the brand's founding, leather goods popular among the upper class in the 1950s and 1960s, the brand's iconic bamboo bag, and the "Flora" scarf designed for Princess Grace Kelly. Charity stamps (sheets of 10 80-yen stamps, priced at 3,150 yen) will also be sold at the venue. All proceeds will be donated to the UNESCO Association School Support Scholarship - Gucci Scholarship Program to support the education of children affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake. In addition, the "Gucci Museo Letter Set" (6,300 yen) will also be on sale as an event-exclusive item.
