This year marks the start of a charity campaign under the theme of "Bringing the Joy of Eating to Children Around the World." A portion of the proceeds from the tote bag sales will be donated to Save the Children, which will help improve nutrition for ethnic minority children in Vietnam through meals and provide nutritional guidance to mothers.

A BAG FOR HAPPINESS is a charity launched in 2007. Once a year, during the holiday season, DEAN & DELUCA donates proceeds from the sale of its original tote bags, which are introduced in limited-edition colors. This donation is made to Save the Children, an international aid organization that works to protect children's rights, to help provide food for children. In 2019, the proceeds from the sale were donated to children of ethnic minorities living in the mountainous region of northern Vietnam. The donations were used to improve the local food environment and provide nutritional guidance to mothers and children, helping to ensure that children eat well and grow into adulthood. These achievements are reported on the DEAN & DELUCA website and elsewhere.
