A collaboration store called "Elemental Enjoyment" between COSMIC WONDER and Light&Will has opened in the promotional space on the second floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building. It will run until December 3rd.
The two brands share a common concept of "valuing natural things," leading to their first joint store. COSMIC WONDER's fashion project, COSMIC WONDER Light Source, will feature necklaces and raw stones made from crystals and other natural stones, as well as winter wear for 2013.
Meanwhile, Light&Will, a select shop themed on "medicinal cuisine," which relates to the necessities of life, including food, clothing, and shelter, will offer tableware and other everyday items. Potter Ryota Aoki, who is involved in various activities to revitalize the ceramics world, will be selling a custom-made cup created especially for Light&Will. The beautiful form, which transitions from a circular base to a hexagon towards the edge, is a golden ratio. Made of white porcelain, it was perfected after many years of experimentation. It is trimmed with gold. There are also many pieces on display that have a simple shine, having been fired using clay that has been kneaded with glaze.

Cosmic Wonder has been focusing on the past few seasons, and the collection also features jackets and pants with sashiko stitching, incorporating traditional Japanese techniques. From next season onwards, the company will continue to focus on Japanese craftsmanship, and will develop collections that incorporate Kurume kasuri.
