YAECA to open limited shop at Isetan Men's. Classic shirts dyed indigo

Nov 7, 2013

A limited-time shop for YAECA, a brand created by Tetsuhiro Hattori and Kyoko Ide, has opened on the 6th floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building. It will be open until November 19th.

The shop offers dyed items exclusively for Isetan Mitsukoshi. Ryukyu indigo-dyed and logwood-dyed jackets (¥61,950 each) and Ryukyu-dyed pullovers (¥30,450) are on sale. The brand's popular staple snap pullover shirt is also available in Ryukyu indigo. Each piece is dyed multiple times to achieve a rich, deep hue.

The staple hoodie (¥23,100) comes in three colors: natural, gray, and black. The natural-colored fabric is made from unrefined raw silk, giving it an authentic, natural silk scent. Even seasonal staples like pullovers and hoodies undergo slight changes each season to enhance comfort. The fabrics are also original, with the tag clearly stating "EXCLUSIVE FABRIC."

"We chose Yaeca this time to match the natural warmth that is the theme of Isetan's direction for this season. The natural colors of gray, natural, and beige stand out, but the collection also features high-quality items that are made with a focus on dyeing and materials. We would love for adults who want to put together a collection of high-quality basic items to take a look at," says the buyer in charge.
