Hyadain takes over Shibuya!

Dec 10, 2012

Musician Hyadain held a promotional event in Shibuya on November 28th, the release date of his first greatest hits album, "20112012." Hyadain, under the name of Kenichi Maeyamada, is also known for providing music for idol groups such as Momoiro Clover Z, and for idol groups such as Band Ja Nai Mon! and Dempagumi.inc, whose costumes are designed by Mikio Sakabe. On the day of the event, a giant B1-sized poster for "20112012" was displayed at Shibuya Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line. Commercials for the album were shown on multiple street screens, including at the Scramble Crossing, Center Gai, and Tower Records. In addition, a promotional truck drove around Shibuya and Harajuku. A handshake event was held at Shibuya Tsutaya, where Hyadain previously worked part-time. Hyadain appeared wearing the black shirt he wore at his former employer, Tsutaya, and the KENZO cap and pants he also wore on the album cover. He chose his clothes himself, and apparently purchased the KENZO at the opening ceremony. He greeted each and every fan who had lined up despite it being a weekday, shaking their hand and chatting with them with a smile. His next album, "23:40," is a collaboration with his friend, Base Ball Bear, and is scheduled for release on January 30th next year.
