SK-II, a skincare brand developed by Max Factor, held an opening event at Omotesando Hills on July 3rd to celebrate the nationwide opening of its beauty theme park, SK-II Pitera Park. Actress Haruka Ayase, who serves as the brand's muse, appeared at the event. Ayase, who has been using SK-II for about six years and undergoes regular skin analysis, described the brand's signature lotion, SK-II Facial Treatment Essence, as "essential for me. I gently wrap my hands around my entire face and let it soak in." She places particular emphasis on moisturizing her skincare routine, and explains that the key to beautiful skin is "laughing a lot, sleeping well, and not overthinking things." In the new commercial, "Change the Future of Your Skin Now," which begins airing on the 5th, Ayase will engage in a skin-related exchange with fellow SK-II muse Kaori Momoi. In the commercial, Ayase expresses concern about her skin's future and says, "I want to keep my skin clear for as long as possible," to which Momoi playfully replies, "You should start as soon as possible. Momoi, I don't lie."

After the commercial aired at the venue, Momoi handed Ayase a surprise love letter. Written by hand on three sheets of stationery, the letter was filled with love: "Momoi will be Haruka Ayase's SK-II and watch over you. If you continue to live honestly like you are now, you'll be fine." Ayase smiled and offered encouragement to women who want to change the future of their skin, saying, "The important thing is to start early and keep going. Let's work hard together."

SK-II Pitera Park, featuring experiential attractions including a free skin analysis, will be open at Omotesando Hills for a limited time from July 4th to 6th. It will then open at Kyoto Takashimaya from July 25th to 29th, and at Iwataya Main Store in Fukuoka from September 3rd to 9th, and will continue in major cities across the country until the end of October.
