To celebrate its first anniversary, HOMME PLISSE ISSEY MIYAKE / DAIKANYAMA will be hosting an in-store installation and selling items exclusive to the Daikanyama store starting June 8th.
The store opened on June 11th, 2016, as the first standalone street-level store where customers can experience the world of HOMME PLISSE ISSEY MIYAKE. This time, an in-store installation will be held alongside the first-anniversary symbol, inspired by the Roman alphabet "I."
The store will also be offering a limited-edition "EDGE BLOUSON" (¥38,000), made of densely woven textile with stylish pleats. Lightweight and comfortable, it is easy to maintain and carry, and features a three-dimensional effect created using a technique called "hand pleating," in which pleats are applied by hand after sewing. Available in three colors: light gray, blue, and navy.
