Parisian gourmet brand FAUCHON has begun accepting reservations for its limited-time Christmas cake, "Christmas Mont Blanc" (3,300 yen), at Takashimaya Nihonbashi and other locations.
The "Christmas Mont Blanc" is an elegant, modern, and geometric Mont Blanc inspired by the Art Deco decorative style that flourished in Europe, particularly Paris, in the early 20th century. It features a rich chestnut mousse made with high-quality French chestnuts, encased in sweet and sour jelly of blackcurrants and blueberries, and decorated with vanilla cream. It is topped with several pieces of milk chocolate.
Reservations are available at Takashimaya Nihonbashi, Takashimaya Shinjuku, Takashimaya Yokohama, Takashimaya Tamagawa, Takashimaya Tachikawa, Takashimaya Konandai, Takashimaya Kashiwa, Takashimaya Food Maison Otakanomori, Takashimaya Omiya, and Takashimaya Takasaki.
Reservations will be accepted online until 10:00 on December 15th and in stores until December 17th, with the collection period being from December 23rd to 25th. If you make a reservation in store, you can collect it at the store where you made the reservation, but if you make a reservation online, you can choose to collect it from Shimaya Nihonbashi, Takashimaya Shinjuku, Takashimaya Yokohama, Takashimaya Tamagawa, or Takashimaya Kashiwa stores only.
