FAUCHON will be selling its "Eclair Bonne Chance!", a beckoning cat-themed eclair, again this year for a limited time only in Japan, starting December 26th.
The "Eclair Bonne Chance!" (648 yen including tax), which was introduced last year and received rave reviews, is a "good luck" eclair featuring a cute beckoning cat. Next to the beckoning cat are the words "Bonne Chance!", which means "good luck!" in French, in the hope that it will bring good fortune to the eater. The eclair is filled with a white ganache cream made with sweet sake (amazake), giving it a rich fragrance.
The sale period begins December 26th. It will be available at Nihonbashi Takashimaya, Shinjuku Takashimaya, and Yokohama Takashimaya.
